Becoming a Storypreneuer is a 11 week digital marketing program designed specifically for screen media creators (writers, producers, directors of film, television, web series, transmedia experiences and other interactive screen based storytelling). Delivered online and via the phone, the Fall/Winter 2016 cohort will be open to storytellers throughout North America.
Upon completing the course, participants who have completed the work will have:
• Up-to-date info & resources to take advantage of the digital marketplace
• Knowledge and skills to apply to future projects
• A digital marketing plan for a specific project
• Access to a growing online community of Storypreneur alumni
8 weekly online group meetings will require 1.5-2 hours of your time. There will also be exercises for each module in both beginner and advanced versions. These can take up to one hour per week for beginner exercises and between 2-4 hours per week for advanced. Those completing the advanced exercises will have all the necessary elements to put into a draft digital marketing and business plan.
NB: For those with Internet connectivity issues, there will be options to join via phone, with email access given to support materials.
You will be taught by an internationally recognized specialist with extensive experience in this field and will also benefit from the experience and knowledge of your fellow participants and what you learn and discover together.
