About us

With presence in Saskatoon, Vancouver and Toronto, veria.ca has been part of over 20 years of online success stories. We have deep expertise in digital marketing and the ecosystem around stories, content and experiences and understand how the online space is evolving. We use that knowledge to inform effective content, social media, discoverability, audience and market development and digital distribution strategies.

We work with storytellers who inspire us and empower them with the strategies and knowledge that will help them take advantage of the digital opportunity. If you have a film, television, web series, interactive or other media based story, and an exciting vision of the future, we want to help you build a viable creative business online.

Our approach

Discoverability is a big buzz word in the culture sector these days. But the most overlooked part of the concept of “discoverability” is not how to help your audience find your work, but how to help you find your audience. Our digital marketing approach is grounded in this deep exploration and understanding of your audience, which is NOT everyone 18-35.

Audiences are defined not by broad demographics (like age ranges and gender), but by people’s passions and interests. Your audience includes people for whom there will be deep resonance and “heart-to-heart” connection, who will want to share your stories and be a part of your fandom. You also can reach them without deep Hollywood pockets. This means niche. And the better you can understand your target (niche) audience(s), the easier it becomes to determine which digital platforms and techniques need to be used to achieve your goals. Your audience already exists online. You just need to go where they already are forming communities, having conversations and gathering around influencers, and find relevant ways to add value.

Our approach helps our clients define and find the audience(s) of most value and relevance to their projects or companies and then use this specific knowledge to design a unique digital strategy to engage and grow that audience. We also tap into the amazing resources available online like information about the language of search and the data around your existing audience to help our clients to get smarter and more effective as their creative businesses grow.

We want to help you as a storyteller make a living from your stories by identifying and connecting you to the audiences who are going to care about them the most.
